Pretty simple. What are your plans?

I'm going to a wedding. Why they decided to get married on new years eve I'll never know.

Tempe Fiesta bowl block party in tempe arizona. One of the biggest parties in the nation. It's always off the heezy

I don't have plans :( I'll probably see what my friends are doing. Most likely I'll be sitting somewhere drinking and watching lame TV.

Cooking for about 10 friends, then eating with said friends
that partying with said friends till dawn in a club
then alternating between lying on a chair in a zombie-like state , or being transported to another relative, where I will be... lying on a chair in a zombie-like state.

The only bonus to that ending is I regain full consciousness with alot of extra cash the next morning :)

Traditional neighborhood new years party at our friends' house, followed by the usual jokes about having a Designated Walker, or getting pulled over for WWI (we're two doors down from the neighbors who host it).

Then I'm going to ANOTHER party on New Years Day at ANOTHER friends' house.

Same here...I wish I wasnt so lazy, then i may be compeled to find something to do. I'll probably be working anyways

I think New Year's Eve is an overrated holiday. For years I've tried to find some event that lives up to the hype, and it never does. So now we usually just get together with some other friends, play some music or watch some TV, have dinner and just hang out. Very low-key.

In years past I've gone to concerts (that can be either very fun, or ironically very lonely) and bars. The worst was paying $90/head for "top shelf" liquor (when we got there, we were denied top shelf!) and a shitty buffet while dancing amongst a million other people. The dancing was fun, definitely, but not worth $90.

We're going to our neighbors' house to play games and hang out and eat. We do it every year and it's fun and low-key. And we can walk home.

Prepping for the Cotton Bowl. Drinking at friends house, etc.

Going to my wifes parents house, going out to a pub with her, her aunt, and her family, getting rather drunk, going back to her parents house and going to bed. We have donw this the last couple of years - we both go back to our parents houses for christmes, then I go up to join them for new year. Could be better, but it's nice to have a good, warm house to go back to, with thought of a breakfast cooked for you the following morning too, and to be with my wife out in a pub. Nice!

I am probably going to either a friends house or my sisters for a little get together. So, not much of anything.

Gonna go to my grandparents' place, with fruitcake and poppers, and will do my best to put a smile on their faces.

Then I'm gonna sneak back home, and put some presents for my folks under the tree... I really hope they like them...

Nota. We are probably going to play video games, give a little cheer at midnight, and maybe do some drinking. Unless something more interesting comes up.

My man and I are getting a hotel room with a jacuzzi right beside the bed.

We will be doing lots of celebrating in that room!

Since birth I've always done something on New Year's Eve. This year I just want to be left alone.

A friend of mine is having his annual New Years Eve party. Every year supersedes the fun of the previous one, so this year should be a blast :D. I used to go to Vegas for New Years but after going to this party he throws a few years back, I have been hooked ever since. Everybody will be partying like a rock star :suave:...already looking forward for the 2 day hangover .

We'll be having a party, as usual.

Many years ago we started having a New Year's Eve party because we never seemed to have any place to go. Over the years it's continued without interruption. Although, the last couple of years there have only been 2 or 3 people who actually make it to midnight. I guess we're all getting older. :D Nahhhh. Not me. :lol:

Probably the same as every year but one in the past. Sitting at home, watching the ball drop in Times Square, listening to my mother yell at me to go to bed because she still won't accept that I'm out of middle school. I'd like to be hanging out with friends, not drinking much, but still having a good time. Instead, it's going to be another instance of my general attitude toward most holidays. Happy fucking New Year's; who gives a shit?

goin to a house party out in the sticks with my girl and a bunch of her friends. 4th year in a row i've had to work til atleast 9pm on NYE. ugh... stooged!

I'll be working and staying as far away from the drunken hordes of college students and yuppies as posible....

To me year eve/day needs nothing except that by law, my tax forms will be arriving by January's end.

I really couldn't care less about New Years Eve, so like the last few I'll be home with my family, just playing a board game or something. And there will be a good 50/50 chance I'll be watching the midnight hour through my eyelids. :)

going to my brothers and hang with my nephew. He's one and half but he rocks.

I'll be at a New Years Eve party at Dick's Last Resort. Looks to me like its gonna be a blast!!

I was going to go to see my (now ex) girlfriend, but since we're apart, I'll probably go hear Bobaflex (semi-local band) play at The Monkeybar, then go back to my friends and catch a nice buzz.

Either that, or sit at home alone and smoke 2 packs of cigarettes, drink some cheap gin and throw a pity party.

Either way, I'll be supporting the brewers and distillers of the world.

We're having a few friends over and then going to a Microsoft party.

It should be fun :D

i'm driving to eugene to spend time with my boyfriend, meeting his friends, hanging out and just enjoying eachother's company.

getting ready, going to, joining in, talking, drinking, noise, spending money, coordinating friends,
getting attention, getting home, recovering...etc. and all the other BS.

I've been doing it for 3 months, with this last being the most hectic.

I'll just be going to my sister-in-law's with the kids, and playing adult games until 11:55, then popping open the champainge at midnight, while putting up with my dumb mother-in-law. It's a blast, we do the same every year.
