Capitalism reaches a new low (Saddam-related)
Well, I was just watching the BBC world news, and you would NOT believe what was mentioned in the headlines. There is now a Saddam Hussein action figure available.

sad.

Lame!
Stupid Idea. I never liked the "Deck of Cards" idea either.
I'd buy one to go with my Rumsfeld and Bush action figures. They can't beat up on my star wars guys forever, it's not realistic enough!!!
lol

does he come with "Kung-Fu Grip"?
Did you see the DOA Uday doll? Man, that's just bad. That's like a modern day version of sticking slain enemies heads on the castle gate.
Sad thing is that these will probably be collectors items some day after the company goes out of business. |
what the hell- why not proffit from thine enemies- hell- take anything you can from em- and why not stick their heads on a wall while we're at it
If he doesn't have karate chop action, he's not not worth the investment.
This is silly. The deck of cards was sweet though.
For every person that thinks this is gross, there are many others that will buy it (maybe). It is just human nature. Remember when "pet rocks" were big. Someone took a stone, pained a face on it and sold it as a pet (and made millions apparently).

On the contrary, I think this doll represents a lot of good things about capitalism. The power of demand can make you a millionaire.
Vat in Zee Vuck?!
yea, that is pretty bad...but you know there are people who will buy it
Materialism? You guys crack me up. This is silly. I think that's the point though.
Saddam should sue because they used his name and likeness without premission :)
maybe you bury it in your backyard and then spend a year and millions of dollars looking for it
you know, as much as i think it's a stupid idea...i kinda want one, because it's so dorky
the cards, the dolls, etc.---the republicans promised America an economic recovery and the "WAR-TOKEN" industry will lead the way. i am still waiting for the jessica lynch doll, the king dubya doll, the donald rums....
It's kinda like, "if you make one, some idiot is bound to buy it."
People make money anyway they can now days. Entrepeneurship. I don't dislike the people who make such stuff, just wonder what the people who buy the stuff are thinking. |
lol i want one it can fight with my jesus action figure

Seriously...lame. I might be interested if he had a shirt that wasn't humorously cheesy. Ace...ha. |
I'll not buy one and not put it next to the Hitler action figure that I don't have.
I have a Jesus action figure so I guess he could smite Saddam or damn him to eternal hell fire or something....
It's kinda funny really..... lame, but funny
I'm not impressed.
Does Saddam really have biceps like that?

I don't really think it's supposed to be taking seriously. Perhaps it's just general goofy-ness. Or maybe it's in-depth satrical commentary on something. Or maybe not.
I think it's silly. I want a super-buff Saddam to battle with my Power Rangers. |
