I'm back, and I'm pissed!

I'm not so pissed now that I've cooled down a little, but last night someone broke into our store and stole 120 playstation2 games and 260 dvds. All the cops that showed up were really cool, The dective wasn't in such a good mood but it's forgivable since he wasn't on duty. It was kinda funny his picture was on the front page of the newspaper yesterday :/

Anyway, while the cops were still there they got a call that they found the the stuff. So they photographed everything and brought everything back, garbage cans and all.(Did I mention they stole the garbage cans?)

What really pisses me off is they stole the money from the freaking donation jars. That's really what bugged me the most. I hope they catch these bastards soon.

I thought CSI and Law and order made people wanna be cops, but after seeing these guys work around me I was thinking about a career change They did a good job. I felt bad for the detective, he searched everything for prints and when they got the stuff back they found gloves too so all his work was for nothing

Well, My computer break is over. I did pretty good. I had to get on a few times for various reasons but I made sure it didn't interupt any of my real world plans. That reminds me, It's interupting my plans right now. Gotta go.

Wow man, that's harsh, I hope you catch the bastards who did that. Keep us informed. Speaking of other things to do, I'm supposed to be writing an Organic Chemistry paper right now, lol.

Glad to hear you at least got most of your stuff back. Hopefully they can catch the guys so you can get the money back too.

And, geez, how in the world did you get 120 PS2 games and 260 DVD's?!??!!? I have 3 and 8 respectively!

What kinda dumbass leaves all the stuff in garbage cans WITH the gloves used to commit the crime somewhere that people will see them and report it? Anyway, best of luck to you and your store and worst of luck to the criminals.

Man, I had one DVD stolen (Sopranos: Season 3) and I was super pissed off. I can't imagine having all that stolen. I would flip out. Glad to hear you got it back though. Sadly, I never saw my Sopranos again.

That's messed up. Why the hell would they bother to steal all that shit just to dump it off in garbage cans?

Disgusting that they would steal the charity money but by stealing anything in the first place pretty much shows that they don't care about anyone except themselves anyways.

That really blows. Much karmic justice is headed their way. You don't steal from donation jars and expect to wake up without a cancerous lump in your brain relatively soon. Bye bye, robbers. </wishful thinking>

They probably stole the garbage cans to carry the loot to the car easier. Thieves are my least favorite kind of human waste. May they get tetanus and/or lockjaw and their car lose at least one wheel on the freeway.

Hmmmm,... just a guess but maybe to pick it up later.

Good your stuff got returned but too bad the thieves took to much or that could have been a good insurance payout minus the rates rising. That would be a Merry fucking Christmas a little early for the insurance scumbag processing your claim. Asshole insurance scumbag would probably drag it along anyways.

They certainly are good at collecting the dough but not dishing it out

people used to break into churches and steal the poor boxes all the time throughout history. times change, people don't. i'm not surpriced. eventually they will find these people if they continue the path...

Your lucky to get your stuff back. I don't know how it is where you live, but I got robbed twice in just three months and I knew I would never see my stuff again. I was just glad the second time they didn't find the laptop I had bought to replace the one they had stolen a month earlier or the hand gun I bought in case they came back when I was home.

I'm glad you got your stuff back! You were lucky. You think it's weird that they stole your garbage? I once had someone break into my garage (they did over $500 in damage to the garage door) and all they stole was a bucket of manure I had been using to fertilize my garden. The weirdest thing was, I found the bucket at the end of my alley, but it was empty!?! WTF?

I bet this is one of the busiest times of the year for thieves. Think of all the gifts, donation jars, food banks, etc. that people have donated to and how easily they are to get a hold of by the wrong people. I think these people are pretty desperate themselves to go as low as stealing from the needy, poor, disabled, etc.

They should have their pinky fingers lopped off!

Great to hear you got your stuff back, but that shit about stealing from the donation jar is horrible, man, that really disturbs me. It speaks volumes about what kind of worthless lowlifes those thieves actually are, I sure hope they get caught. DVDs and PS2 games are obviously valuable, commodities, but with the comparatively small amt in the donation jars, that's just ill.

I know this kind of stuff goes on all year, but seems like it happens more around the holiday period. Guess the crooks figure there is more money in the donation cans at this time. That is why i donate thru work and my frat org. At least they can't, or should i say, hopefully they can't get at the money. Saw on the news that a bell ringer for Salvation Army was arrested for taking bills out of his pot after the people had walked off. Oh well, takes all kinds of people to make a village.

They recovered the truck used today. It was stolen saturday. They found 1 ps2 game in it so they knew where it came from. It's very likely they can get prints from the truck because they left their gloves with the games.

SecretMethod: It's a video store, We have 700+dvds but some of the drawers were locked, they got all the ps2 games.

Frowning Budah: Last time were were burgularized was 14 years ago, they only stole about 500$ worth then, Can't fit as many VHS tapes in the garbage can They stole all the Kools cigarettes last time, this time they stole every carton of cigs on the shelf. There wasn't that many though because we get new cigs on tuesdays.

I'll keep ya updated if they ever catch the guys

My buddy Manny down the shop had one recent break in, and another b-i attempt. They got away with some big $$$ worth of mobile electronics equipment the first time, and on the second time the SOB's got caught at the hospital; shattered his elbow trying to break the glass that had (much to his surprise) been replaced with shatterproof glass.

What goes around comes around, those bastards have it coming.
