|
Someone forgot their little blue pills.
|
hmm... I think thats when I'd decide to break up....
|
some of u say she s mad, i say she s in love
|
Edit: Oops! scratch that. "If you can't say anything nice, hit the back button". Sorry. |
Chuck her in jail, let her stew there for a while. And by a while I mean 20 years. What a dumbass, some people have no concern for other people.
|
I wouldn't mind seeing her doing a little jail time. I mean use some common fucking sense once in awhile and how about thinking beyond your own dumbass selfish self once in awhile.
|
stupid girl
|
I didn't realize ten days was so long as to risk a possibility of twenty years in jail.
Then again, that's just me. |
Aaaah, young love.
Who hasn't threatened the lives of 2,400 people in order to spend a little more quality time with their snoogie-woogums? I mean, come on! Any jury is going to understand, right? |

Man, that's pretty scary.
I'd hate to imagine I'd ever bring kids up to be psychologically unbalanced asshats like her parents managed so skillfully to do. |
That is a woman you could never break up with....fatal attraction material...

Think she'll threaten the entire prison population unless given early parole?
|
:) Romeo Romeo bullshit. In todays world that behavior must not be tolerated. Twenty years is harsh for a stupid act but 2400 innocent people were not laughing. The young man of her
affection must take this time and run, far far away. |
The girl is 20 years old !!
C'mon I've knowen kids half that age who are far more responsible. |
hell i can see killing 2400 people to get a piece but ruining their vacations like that is just plain wrong
|
What ever happened to the first amendment?
Damn, this girl was arrested for just WORDS. |
True, but its the same thing as not being allowed to yell "fire!" in a crowded theater. I think charging her with "threatening acts of terrorism" is rather steep, but what she did was wrong. Sounds to me like she needs a good dose of common sense, combined with some thought for other people.
|
heh, my boss was on that ship! on a cruise for vacation. she said fbi helicopters flew in and made everyone stay in their rooms for a few hours while the searched the place. scared everyone on board the entire day, until they found out what happened.
|
um, nowhere in that article does it suggest there was any actual maleovalent intent.
why did she get arrested? =) |
first of all.... how did the crewmembers happen to stumble across those notes.... she most likely had them in her room in her luggage or something, i doubt she left them out.... so the crewmembers should not be tresspassing in other peoples property.... they are just words of a young girl who most likely always gets what she wants, and if she doesn't she throws a fit, so she threw a fit this time.... and looks like it went too far... i personally don't think she should get jail time...
|
I was thinking about this earlier today and this is what I came up with.
There were 2400 people who wasted a full day out the their vacations. For many, this is the vacation of their lives. They had saved for years to be able to take this cruise. They were not just able to enjoy the ship like a day at sea. No, they were isolated in controlled areas of the ship, I am guessing like in a lifeboat drill, but for hours while the ship was searched. That is more than six and a half years worth of meaningfull life that was forever stolen from these people without even counting the crew. That is the very minimum amount of time she should spend in jail. |
Can someone post a link to the article? I tried to find it and could not.

I remember some called on Howard Stern one morning threaten the President, and they warned him about it. A couple of days later he was found and arrested. Unfortunately too many morons have ruined it for the majority of people out there. I remember missing plenty of activities at grade school all because of one idiot. |
they're out there...be afraid...very afraid....;)
|
Next thing you know she'll be boiling rabbits and sneaking into his house...

Just kidding! :p |
Holy shit! Christina?? Was that you on that ship??? ;) That chick sounds like one of the very first girls I dated. HORRIBLE BREAKUP. PSYCHO GIRL. After I broke up with her (because things just "weren't going to work longterm"), first.. she threatened to kill herself. NEXT she threatened to kill my new girlfriend who I got several weeks after the breakup, then she threatened to kill ME! Jezzus.. that girl needed some meds and a psychiatrist. Glad I haven't seen her or heard from her in about 6 years.

Too funny too be True David. Pictures?!?!?! That would Rock!
|
She sounds like a future bunny-boiler to me.

If I called your mom, sister, wife, or daughter up, and told them that I was going to cut them up into little pieces and feed them to my pet iguana. Especially if they looked out the window and saw me talking on a cell phone. You wouldn't have a problem with that? What I said is a little more graphic, but it's basically the same thing, it's a threat to take someone's life. In this case, 2400 people's lives. With the person obviously in direct proximity, because they left the note on board...only people able to follow through on the threat can leave the note. Although even a letter or a phone call from someone far away is still a crime, the close proximity for me is what changes it from a crackpot loony to a serious threat. By law though, I don't think it matters if they're standing next to you or half a continent away. If someone in another state called my wife and said that I'd call the cops, if someone outside my house did it I'd shove my shotgun down their throat and pull the trigger till I ran out of shells. What gets me is that this girl is actually a woman, she's 20, this sounds like something that a 14 year old love struck teen would do. Poor guy that she's in love with, in the end she probably won't even want him. Most of the girls I know that went to prison, came out of prison more interested in other girls than guys. |
awful timing too eh

Yup, anything even closely related to terrorism is seriously dealt with right now. |
threats to public safety and the general welfare of others are not free speech at any time, most cities have a menacing law to deal with them
