Cool shots. Done the "leave out the side door" a few times and had my hands on the controls once very briefly. Damn touchy machines. How you guys keep them in one place while we zip down is beyond me.

I think I'm saying you're crazy. You whirly bird guys can use all the autorotation you want. Us fixed wingers prefer a glide slope.

Vertical reference...Basically either look straight down or line up something with the skid.

My local airport does helicopter rides - I sometimes think about having a go, but they're damned expensive.

Ive taken the controls of a Chinnock and been in a sea-king while i was in the aircaddets amazing experiance. But no where near as good as flying and pulling a loop in Grob Tutor.
