Recent personal discoveries
 

Any important recent discoveries in your life?

This past month I:

- learned that I really, really liked hummus;
- became acquainted with the ins and outs of incense (and setting other things on fire);
- discovered the joy and convenience of instant coffee, which I didn't even know existed before;
- had my ass kicked by class until I went to TA hours for help, swore to return every week;

-Verizon Sucks Balls. Still not getting help to fix the line.. Comcast should be upping their Down.... :)
-taking the SandBags outta my truck really save on gas. (Ok so this one is a few months old, but I thought it was note-worthy)
-That getting turned down really isn't always as bad as first thought.

just today:
i love keifer sutherland (sp?). my husband LOOKs like keifer. life is grand.

Taking action is so heartening.
My mum is a pretty strange individual when it comes down to it.
Its sometimes worth telling rude people that they are rude.

I learned that wet leaves make riding a motorcycle all the more interesting :D

I learned that the most common red colouring in lipstick and rouge is based upon cochineal. This is created by liquifying little insects. Mmmmm

Living in Sydney for 4 years has made me a pussy when it comes to the cold. I actually shivered today, and it was only 17 degrees.

30 year old, $650 bottles of Krug vintage Champagne do not taste as good as you would expect (and I'm a big fan of vintage Krug). Stick to bottles less than 10 years old.

The amount of pushups you THINK you can do, do not equal the actual number you can do.

Until I read this thread, I didn't know you could do that. Still don't know how, but at least I know it's possible.

Heres HOW you do it:
When you see the post you want to link to, go to the 'edit' button and copy the link location. You should then have something like this:
http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/editpost.php?s=&action=editpost&postid=702984

Then just replace the number of the following link (702984 in this case) with the number in the link of the comment you want to link to and post.
http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthread.php?s=&postid=702984#post702984

That is also how you get to see your comment after you post it.

I learnt that ill probably never have to link certain posts. I was oblivious to it earlier, and the thought had never crossed my mind. Now that i know it can be done, ill probably forget about it in the 20 minutes it takes me to fall asleep. Ill probably have weird dreams about it and then wake up in a cold sweat with the sudden urge to link posts and wonder where the fuck i got the idea from in the first place.

I learned that my out of nowhere nervousness is most likely from my new medicine.
I learned how to make the woman get the Big O every single time under 5 minutes.
I learned that as nice as I may think I am, I'm really an asshole to a lot of people.

I learned that painting a house is hell. aaah, the fumes, they're getting to me.

i discovered i like clamping my nipple or getting them pinched

i discovered that anti fishstick likes getting her nipples pinched.

Nipples... they're so FUN!

New discovery: It's very easy to turn crappy photos from a mediocre 2 MP camera into sweet-ass web images by playing with the Levels option in Photoshop. It's also very easy to make the end result all artsy just by adding a white border around the image.

i've also discovered how to set the right aperture and shutter speed to take a picture of my teevee screen.

I discovered that the only mixer you need with crown royal is ice.

and what were those settings, anti?

1/60 and 1.8 seemed to work well for me ^_^

I learned that of the modern world's approximately 6000 languages, 1000 are confined to New Guinea!(must be a confusing place)

I love beef jerky.

Cigarettes don't do anything at all for me. Good to know.

And crumbly, salty butter crackers are terrible to mix with hummus.

And I really dislike being a more sexual person than my girlfriend. Gah hate being a man.

- Starving myself makes me lose weight, fast.
- Starving myself makes my metabolism die faster than fruit flies.
- I can't breakdance

- After all these years I still hate it when the authority tells me what to do.
- My ficus plant wasn't dying after all, turns out they grow new leaves for every new environment.
- My neighbor makes no comprimises.

Brand name aftershave makes a big difference.

- The first kiss after a fight is the best.

- Don't look at photographers' websites if you're trying very hard not to splurge on a $550 digital camera.

- If you post a reply in Tilted Testing, phred will (rightfully) eat you.

masturbating 8 times in a day is probably not a good idea, even if you dont have anything else to do :P

seeing as though the papers aren´t collected at 5pm friday since the office people all clear out at about 3pm... and don´t get back in there until 9am monday... thats an easy little weekend extension...
