Born-again film siren Daryl Hannah says she loves to be naked as often as possible. Which is, you'll agree, a laudable way to conduct your affairs, particularly if you're a 7 ft tall willowy blonde with cascading hair and turquoise eyes deeper than a Holmes Place plunge pool.

It all helps.

However, there's nude and there's nude. And the vamptastic Kill Bill actress is apparently angry at the way her amazing altogetherness was portrayed in an issue of Playboy magazine.

Picture the scene. She was wearing nothing but a pair of fur boots.

Well it was warm in there, m'lud. And someone had obviously been tinkering with the Economy 7 when they heard she was coming.

Trouble is, for all that the Playboy shoot sounds dead promising to us, Hannah is reportedly miffed from head to toe at the pics' "unflattering" nature and is preparing to wield a legal axe.

At least it's not a samurai sword like in part one of Kill Bill. She's a bit tasty with that, we can tell you.

A spokesman for Hannah told People News the actress selected the snapper for the sexy shoot herself and a friend added: 'She was promised full approval on the shots and they used photos she hadn't approved of."

Ho hum. But about that penchant for nudity. Hannah quaked: "My favourite thing is to be naked, which is why I always live in remote areas.

"My ideal is to wake in the morning and run around the meadows naked. I think it's a good idea to live in harmony with nature."

It just doesn't seem the same in Tooting.

I wonder if she needs a running partner? :D

I like DH and all, but she doesn't sound like the sharpest knife in the drawer to me.

The writer is making me squirm with his writing style, too.

If she was promised final approval on all photos used, and they used non-approved photos, then she has a reason to be angry.

No one enjoys being deceived, regardless of the circumstances.

I would imaginre a little artistic license was used in her comments, also.

I have the issue, and the shoot was fine if a little unrevealing at times. I don't see what her problem is.

I didn't like her photos either....I hate when they try and make them artsy. The Playmate of the Month spreads are always done much, much better then the celebrity spreads.

Yes, but they did show a lot of "spread" for Playboy and a decently known celeb.

She's a boot and in about 3 weeks will be even uglier than Carly Simon.

They just looked odd. I can't think of any other word to describe them.

I think they pay celebrity goss columnists to write that way, which means that there are people out there who just love it. We should track down these people and quietly kill them.

How old is she now? Like 70?

She should be happy that anyone is offering her any kind of publicity. Did anyone see her in that flaky movie about the LA strip club?

Yea, they were soem pretty scary pics. She was hot in Mermaid but the years are starting to show. She also has an odd looking face now.

I did look at the pics someone posted in the links forum, and I'm of a like mind with the people in the above posts.
They weren't that good.

I think her pics looked were pretty flattering....erotic? No, but she's never looked better or less like herself.

She's really not a good actress, nor is she very smart, from what I've read in interviews. The Playboy shoot was a good idea as it drummed up not only publicity for her but also for the movie (and I believe Playboy featured a Tarantino interview in either that issue or the previous one). I thought the pictures were fine, although I agree that a few were a little freaky (like the ones of her in the short, dark-haired wig). But in all seriousness, if I'm looking for nudity, Playboy is not where I go.

I also agree she should just be thankful that Tarantino is giving her career a boost. She's gone just about nowhere since Splash as far as I can tell.

BTW, I don't know about Volume 2, but she's only in Volume 1 for maybe 10 minutes or so, and she doesn't say much. Which is probably for the best.

that movie sucked, it was some kind of improved script - and man did it show. but that little documentary that daryl shot made it worth the rent. actually better than the movie (not that that says much).

I think as she is getting older and realizing it, she wants more things to bitch about....keeps her in the spotlight as long as she can because it won't last forever.
