Quick! Wife's birthday surprise idea
 

So I was planning the usual bunch of flowers sent to work and a nice meal this evening.

But whilst browsing an online florist for a suitable bouquet, I became underwhelmed by my choice.

Why not something different?

So, I know this is very short notice, but does anyone have any good ideas or suggestions?

And if that's not possible, how about getting away for the evening? With the cost of on-line flower arrangements and delivery you could easily book a nite in Sydney.

Drive into the city, book a room in a romantic, hip part of town, and go out together on foot. Get something to eat, go to a coffee shop, walk by the ocean, etc. Let her know that if she sees something interesting the two of you should go check it out. Later, check out the Jacuzzi tub in the room and steal the towels.

It's amazing what a little getaway can do - even if its not going far and its only for the nite.

Or, the threesome thing.

Happy days and happy memories. But now that we're "settled" and married our partying days are over. :)

Good idea, but we already live just beside Circular Quay. Can't get much more central than that. I was thinking of bringing her to the Opening Ceremony of the Rugby World Cup! Don't think she'd like that though.... SIGH

Okay this is a bit long but tons of fun. Buy a couple dozen red roses and then bring em home and take out a couple (like 3). Grab the very top of the stem right where it meets the bud and slowly amd carefully seperate the stem from the bud. If you do this right the stem will come right out and the petals will be very easy to seperate by putting your finger right down the center and opening the rose up. Now take all the petals off those roses except for the 3 and put them either in a bowl or straight in the bathtub. Then when she gets home draw a bath and have her keep her eyes closed till you have the bath full and the flowers in it. I have done this several times with many variations( like leaving a trail of petals to the bathtub) and let me tell you rose baths are lots of fun. The petals all float on top of the water and feel real cool against your skin and if the water is nice and warm you get a neat aromatic effect. For fun you can take the last 3 roses and dethorn them and put the either under her pillow or in the center of your bed. After the bath she will probably feel pretty frisky and you can take her over the top by having her lay down naked and gently caressing her body with the tips of the roses. When your done you can fill a jar with the petals and use them for potpourri. Good luck and hope she has a good birthday.

panty of the month? or you can send her sexy lingerie...there is a company that does that too...dinner is passe...do u have a pottery painting place there? bring some wine, and paint love poems to each other and them hang them...i've done that, it was very romantic...find someone you trust (implicitly) and take boudoir photos together...or there are professionals who will do it too...something that makes her feel like the sexiest most loved woman on earth, that's what i like getting for my birthday
