rainy days
So its been pouring out all day, cancel the picnic, hold the bike ride...no walks in the park. What do people here do on a rainy day, besides hang out on the TFP? If I have nothing going on, and I'm at my house all day, I like to play my guitar, and sort through my music collection. Sometimes I get some friends over to jam and have beers, or just watch a movie or something. So what does everyone else do?

when the rain hits a really good wind and falls hard and rapid.. open the windows, grab the wife, and rip off all the clothes... also works well during thunderstorms
of course that can't happen all the time... so it's pop in a movie and watch something from the netflix queue.

heh... rain? i'm in arizona... the question is, what do you do on those days that are so overwhelmingly hot that to leave the protection of air conditioning is akin to inviting death to your pool-party...
but seriously.. when it does manage to rain, i go out and enjoy it.

In response to phredgreen and Golux...Ha! I never really thought of looking forward to it! Weird...I never really spent any time where it didn't rain for a long period of time. I outta try that out sometime...just go out side and enjoy it!
I lived in Bellingham, Washington for awhile, and it was just the opposite....raining all the time. So when the sun came out, it was like I really felt I had to take advantage of it. Hmmm, that is an interesting thought though...desert life!

It seems to me that you make a lot of references to sliting your wrists. Thats pretty grim man. Is it always raining where you are?
