Hmm, well my real last name is Romeo, as in "Hey Romeo, where's Juliet?"
I'll probably slip and give my first name at some point, I tend not to be too paranoid about such things. Then again, with the kind of stuff one might be involved with on this board, it might be a good idea to be a little more circumspect. Hell I'm probably already screwed, I use this tag on a couple other boards, that I think I have profiles with my full name on 'em...

Charles IV
I like it; I don't go by The Fourth much, but I'm the only one I've ever met. Everyone always asks if I'm going to continue this tradition when I have a kid. How the hell am I supposed to know? First, I have to find a wife, THEN I have to have a son, and then she has to consent. Whew. Still, it'd be nice to do. Anyway, I got all the Charles nicknames growing up: Chuck, Charlie, Chaz, The C-Man (which, when said quickly, sounds an awful lot like Semen), and Quad. I answer to pretty much anything nowadays, though . . . Last edited by teph; 05-14-2003 at 12:30 AM.. |

My name's Robert. I'm fine with that. I'm not planning to change anything.
My brother, on the other hand, is trying to get Optimus Prime legalized as his middle name.

It looks like Throatwarbler Mangrove, but it's pronounced "Smithhampton Luxuryyacht".
Kudos if you get the reference.

my first name sounds like a hairlip dog barking. I changed my last name 15 yrs ago cause I wanted something easier to spell, and didn't want my kids to grow up with the hassle of it. Plus, my dad was just a sperm donor, so I had no loyalty to it.

I really disliked my name growing up, but it's okay now I guess. Just really tough to have an "E" name when all your cousins did too... Elizabeth! Elaine! Erin! and then they'd finally get to me... but I'm not telling, it's elsewhere if you really must know. |

Jeff here, but parents didn't know how to spell full name, co it came out Jefferey.
Doesn't bother me, makes me unique. I only hear the full name when I'm in trouble. The last name is a big issue though. It's french and hard to spell and pronounce. NOBODY ever gets it right, even after I tell them how to pronounce it. The only people to ever pronounce it right the first time were my French teacher in HS (go figure) and a hotel clerk in Canada (again, big shock). The best part about it is I can tell when a telemarketer is on the phone. Telemarketer - "Hi Mr. uhh, uummm (bad attempt at pronouncing name). Me - "Sorry, no one here by that name." click

Jim right? Wrong. I chose Jim Kata in omage (spelling) to the shitty late night movie of my youth "GYMKATA" anyways.... I'm another Rock here. Well.....that's what some people call me at least. my initials are RUB as in RUB one out...or RUBbin one off. Some people call me "Patches" because of my two toned cock. My name is Zach or Zachary if its family, I'm in trouble with my mother, or if I just want to sound a little more distinguished.
I like my name for the most part, I hate when people mispell it or think it is "Jack" instead. I really like my middle name, Gray, though and I plan to pass it on when I have a son.

Joshua which is far too common a name for my taste. Though, I actually sign off on emails and such with "Joshie"... guess it's just more personable.
I was almost named after the Native American leader Sequoia from which the trees get their name. I'm part Chickasaw so my mother thought it'd be appropriate. My father thought I'd be taunted for it so vetoed it. Makes me wonder what life would have been like with that as my name.
