why do mosquitos bite my feet?
is this a common place for them to bite? or do i have tastey feet ?because right now im sitting here trying to TFP it up but my feet are getting eaten by freaking mosquitos.

Are you sure they are mosquitos? I had alot of insect bites on my feet and leg area and thought they were mosquito bites. Turned out they were fleas bites :eek:

I think I remember it has something to do with heat - your hands and feet radiate more heat than some other parts of your body, so they attract skeeters looking for a hot meal. So does your head but there's a lot of hair in the way.

Yeah, put on some socks and you won't have this problem. They'll bite elsewhere instead.

Smell maybe? Are you indoors or out doors?

i think i may just opt for the whole socks thing, bug bites on feet are awful cause they seem to multiply their itchiness. |
everytime i visit my parents in southern indiana i tend to get bitten. wearing socks tho helps to keep them off your ankles & feet.
i always take a can of OFF (bug repellant) with me, too ;) |
I have the same problem. My theory is that they live in the grass and that is where I am walking. If some of you are getting bit inside that might screw up my theory. I only notice it when I am outside.
