I think the best way to explain it is to ask if there are people in life that have done so much crap to you and pissed you off so much that teh mere mention of their name makes your blood boil. People like that exist online. That's as much as I can really say about the situation.

I think what you're thinking is that whatever title someone uses is atached to posts that are made while they have that title, and will stay the same on those posts after they change it. What happens is that when someone's title, avatar, or signature changes, it changes for all of their posts. If someone is banned, the title of "Banned" or "Loser" (depending on how badly they messed up while getting themselves booted) is appliet to all of their posts, becuase while they may not be welcome back, posts they mad in the past may have contributed to, or started, a discussion.

Just act mature and don't blatently post stupid shit and follow the flow.. and you'll never have to worry about being cut off, as far as I know.

They were probably active when they originally posted. You still see their names now but they are no longer here. Since the tiltle is actively updated, their status now is banned. I venture to say that people that are banned don't have their posts deleted.

Bannings do not just happen, they are caused by the choices people make. Sometimes those choices put us in an unfortunate position.

*points to self* I didn't do anything wrong besides be under-age, but I was banned for a month and got my TFP back for my 18th b-day. I've been a good lil' boy since then.

Oh, I got a question...if I refer alot of people to come to TFP and they put me down as the man who referred them, but then they get stupid and abunch of them get banned, will I get black-listed or anything like that by TFP mods?

We have no way of knowing who referred people to TFP. It's just a number. The only way you will get banned now that you are of age is being a jackass... to put it bluntly. So, like you said before... be a good guy, have fun, and continue to tell people how cool we all are here. And truthfully, if you have dumb friends that will do anything that will get them banned... don't tell them to come here. Cool Daddy-O.
