I only look at the boards/threads that interest me. Otherwise, it would take me way too much time to read everything!

I've been reading just about every section, though Politics, Gaming, and Entertainment (and GD naturally) are where I find myself posting the most so far.

i think this depends on the forum.

if you mean, the General Discussion... then i definitely try to check out all of the threads... because you never know what you could learn.

however, in the sports forum for instance, i have no real interest in American Football, so i tend to stick to the threads that concern themselves with sports that i know and like.

and in the entertainment forum, since movies are usually released in the States a lot earlier than they are here, i try to avoid threads regarding such movies (esp when they say SPOILERS), so that i can keep that surprise factor for when i see the movie.

but for most of the forums that i visit, its a case of trying to get through as many threads as poss.

I read most of a thread if I find it interesting. I try to read most of the interest forums & GD/TN as much as possible. The humor keeps me from going insane.

I read as much as I possibly can, but I can't get to everything. I usually read most posts, but especially lately, it's been difficult seeing every post.

I go through most of the forums and look at anything that looks interesting. Post on the ones I think I need to get a few words in.

I usually hit the General Discussion, Tilted Computers, and Tilted Motors.

If I'm still bored, or have more time to goof off, then I wander over into Tilted Nonsense, Tilted Newbies, or Tilted Games.

I stick to about 4 main ones and venture out into a few others if I manage to read everything.

A lot of the forums just don't interest me

I just check out the ones that interest me. It would be way too time consuming to check all of them out.

As a moderator I try to start at the top of each forum and browse through the new threads. I read the thread that either interest me or look like they have the potential to cause problems.

Back in the old days before the added responsibility I'd stick to a few forums of interest and read the threads completely that were of most interest.

I was wondering, is the moderator team structured for each person to try to police the entire site, or are there moderators assigned to specific areas?

We just browse the site and can fix things if we notice them. Every moderator is a mod for every forum. Some mods just tend to have a forum that tends to be their's because they frequent that individual forum a lot. There is no official forum for any mod to watch though.

I have all day free, but I still tend to stick to a few forums: General Discussion, Members Playground, Tilted Sexuality, etc. I do stray into other areas when the mood strikes me, but it only happens every few days.

I also browse using the "New posts" button.
That way I know I won't be stuck in any area. I try to get involved as much as I can, but sports and weapons don't interest me, so there is very little chance of me browsing there...

The other forums? I try to read everything a little, maybe learn something new, keep a broad mind...

In a forum this size, I only browse the sections/threads that interest me. Waaay to much to take in if I tried to read everything, as I do in some smaller forums.

It all depends on time, of course. When I was unemployed, I think I checked out every section at least once. Now I'm working a lot more and hardly ever go anywhere outside of General and Member's Playground.

I try to spread it around. Not too thin but not sticking to just three threads.

When somehting sparks my interest I usually like to chime in (assuming I have something half interesting or relavant to say).
