I drink but only rarely and in moderation (usually one or two wine max). I have no desire to ever try tobacco. I haven't had the opportunity to smoke pot. Just not interested in spending the money and have no close friend I could trust to stay with me and who wouldn't be against it themselves.

I knew one fella who participated occasionally and once made a phone call to the wrong person. He got lucky but just about blew his marriage (long story). The next morning he had no memory at all of it after that he said he'd never participate again.

I do know that the after-effects of pot are almost nil and alcohol can be a pain literally. Both do pass though the membrane that protects the brain from most chemicals and both damage brain cells in the process.

I just prefer to be in complete control of my senses, body, and memory. I never know when I'll need it and I don't like the idea of not remembering things. If I need to relax I think I will control my own mind and do so consiously not by means of chemicals.

I would probably support the legalization of Marijuana. I would be willing to try it for experimentation purposes primarily if the opportunity arose and it wasn't going to get me in trouble with the law. I would also not object if a group I was with was smoking pot. I just wouldn't participate probably and if I was in a local in which it was illegal I would probably leave to avoid getting in trouble with them but I wouldn't report them.

I suppose I could say I'm pro alcohol, and pro pot. I'm just not a strong supporter/user of either.

We shouldn't be getting all worked up about pot being illegal. It will be legal one day, trust me.

Sounds like alcohol to me. Care to elaborate on your opinion?

Ya, its true, That whole thread was a good one. Really the debate in th, at one was great becuase people couldnt debate over is pot bad or good, becuase it's a fairly obvious fact that getting stoned at work is never a good thing, very off-putting to the people (me) who normally post things like "pot's fine get over it" :)
