Good idea for a couple of free issues, but, you have to make sure you send in the cancel notice or else you'll be on the hook for the whole subscription.

What's the Catch?

As you may know, most of the profits in magazine publishing come from advertising sales. It's just like TV: the higher the ratings, the more they charge for the commercials. With magazines, the more readers, the more they charge for the ads.

Because of our standing in the industry, from time to time, publishers will contact MagazineCity with special offers like these in an effort to boost circulation. There is no credit card required, you won't get a bill, and there is never an obligation to buy or pay for anything at any time. Also, your name and address will be only be shared with the publisher to ensure delivery of the magazine. Other than that, your name and email address will never leave our offices or be sold to other marketers.
I don't think you have to cancel at all, and if you do it wouldn't be until after the 2 year free subscription has ended.

Thanks much for sharing this, it really is cool of you.

Yeah, I have some friends that have done this free magazine thing and they've had no problems so far. If they go nuts about it I'll let you know.

I did the Stuff Mag. one late last year and to my surprise I actually began receiving it. Of course I got the obligatory "how do you like the magazine?" call and some of the telemarketing calls i've gotten have prolly been a result of getting this but hey, nothing's free.
