It's October Fest time!
A full month before October is actually here, I've got my first pack of Sam Adams Octoberfest beer.
For those of you that don't know, "Samuel Adams OctoberFest is brewed to celebrate the arival of autumn. This hearty lager is a rich blend of four malts, carefully balanced hand-selected Noble hops." ... and I can say, since I can no longer go trick-or-treating, it's the next best thing to look forward to in fall. :) So, what do you guys have in your fridge? |
I am waiting for the Becks octoberfest. Last year it came in a clear bottle with a light blue label. The brew has a beautiful red tint to it and a flavor to die for. Oh october what a good month, lets just hope the distributors are having a good year.

I love Becks Dark. I havent tried their Octoberfest beer. Will definately try it out this year. Any other beer makers that make Octoberfest beers?

Pah. HB is the only Oktoberfest beer!
(And we get it by the stein in the Tav on Oktoberfest day, served by buxom wenches in lederhosen and felt hats!) |
I don't know if I have ever had Sam Adams Octoberfest. I'm all about the "carefully balanced hand-selected Noble hops." I'll have to try it. I'm not fond of their summer ale. I usually drink Bass Ale. My grocery store sometimes has it on sale for $7.99 for a twelve pack.
