Hey I need to pass a drug test I smoke a little pot on occassion not like a fiend or any thing its been a week since i've smoked some and I have a week befor the test help what should i do or take to detox my self asap

sucks.... you should have considered the consequences of your actions.

hope they are using a piss test and drink lots of water. gold seal supposedly works like a charm. follow directions.

if they are using a hair test, shave off all body hair.

Gold seal is the way to go. Either that or work in fast food. They don't typically do drug tests.

if it's piss test, weed takes 30 days to clear your system. if it's been less than 30 days, your screwed....period. have a nice day

Cnor: Actually, a urine analysis test's for weed by measuring the concentration of the drug in your system. 30 days would be the amount of time it would take a heavy daily smoker to get the weed completely out of their system. The less you smoke during a week the less time it takes to get it out of your system. Drink lots of water and try the gold seal if you would like. The most important thing to remember is not to smoke any weed at all this week( not even a little hit). good luck

Have taken the piss test once for my present job, 8 years ago. Was advised to not eat anything with poppy seeds in it, no visits to the Dentist (novaCAINE), or eye doctors (what ever they numb your eye with is a CAINE derivitive). I think there were others mentioned but its been awhile. I was the first perspective employee to have to take the piss test and a couple of girls in HR really were helpful in pointing out things to avoid. It had been a while since I had any weed so I wasn't too concerned.

Look, if you smoke a bowl here and there drink plenty of fluids and hit the gym or run or something that will make you sweat. My friend did this every week. He called it "Sweating Out the THC". Since THC is stored in fat deposits, the less fat on you the better. Also I was told that when you excersice it releases the THC from the fat deposits and lets you sweat and piss them out. He would smoke on a friday and be piss tested on friday morning and come out clean for a year.
Please keep in mind that everyones body is different so what worked for one person may not work with you.
Also some places check for golden seal.
Another option is to get someone elses urine, put it in a leak proof bag of some sort (make sure it is leak proof, i could tell you why but you don't want to hear it...trust me), tape it to your inner thigh to keep it warm (they check for temperature of urine), and when its time to piss, just fill that cup up with the clean piss.
If worse comes to worse go to GNC and be straight up with the people there. They will tell you what to do.

So if you just drink lots of water and piss/sweat a lot over the week you have left, that'll be 2 weeks you were clean. With enough pissing and sweating, you should be fairly diluted. That drink TaLoN recommends sounds like it provides a LOT of carbohydrates for your blood so that the body doesn't need to burn fat to get energy, and therefore doesn't release THC. I would assume that super sugary water would have a similar but less potent effect.

Make sure its a piss test, not a hair test. If its hair, bleach then recolor. That's all you can do. Oh, and shave your pits and pubes if you don't want to bleach then color them.

Hair test: horribly in accurate, if u are in the same room as pot smoke it is a positive test.

suggestions: drink tons of water for the next week, buy a piss test from like rite aid and see if u are + or - detox pills are crap and dont help. take daily vitamins that are complete one a day with like everything u need, that will help too.

thats all i can suggest because everything else is a scam.

I'm sorry, but I hope you fail the test. I have to piss test people all of the time. I hate it when new hires come back positive. Why the fuck are you even wasting my time and money when you know you are dirty?

Sorry, but if you dont play by the rules, dont come work for me. I can deal with alot but not drugs.

Drink lots of cranberry juice as well as gallons of water. It cleans out your system nicely. You will be fine by next week. For a casual smoker, marijuana is detectable by urine test for only a few days, 10 days at the absolute most. Other tests, however, can show traces of it in your system for a much longer time.

My wife works at a clinic that does alot of piss tests..... And though this is off topic..... If you fail don't get all pissed off at the person giving the test.... get mad at your job. If you try to sneak in piss you'll get caught....don't get all pissed off at the person giving the test.... get mad at your job. I guess what I am trying to get across is...don't get mad at my wife and threaten to come back in and kill her because you failed a piss test and now you cant get your 10 dollar an hour job. (oh and from what i've read...... drink lots of water! hahaha)

Hair tests are pretty rare. Just as MacGnG said, if your in the same room (concert, whatnot), your exposed to the smoke, which gets in your hair. Explain the situation.

As for the piss test, take the advice of everyone here. Drink lots, work out, and relax! You should pass if you dont smoke heavily

I don't understand why people care so much about what someone does on their own time. Going to work stoned or getting stoned at work should never be done, but who the fuck cares what someone does on a weekend or while on holidays?
While I think being clean and sober is best, I'd just as soon have an employee come to work having consumed pot rather than alcohol the night before.
I've employed around 100 people over the years doing a relatively dangerous job and never had an issue with pot consumption with any of my employees. I have had many cases of alcohol problems however.

Most places boast a drug free environment. This means that they want employees that do not use drugs. Part of getting a job at these places is not doing drugs, which includes pot. That said, don't bother applying if you're not clean. Don't waste your time, don't waste their time.

Drug testing employees without a significant reason (ie, Health workers) is the most small minded and self destructive form of idiocy known to management-kind.

It's none of the company's business what you do on your time. If you fuck up, they can fire you for incompetence. If they suspect you're a drugged up knife wielding lunatic, well there will be more useful evidence from the corpses and screaming innocents around the water cooler. I guess then they can call the cops.

Either way. Screw them.

I just took a piss test last week and passed. my secret to passing while positive? stop smoking as much in advance as possible and drink a lot of water the day you go. Make sure you don't give them the 1st piss of the day and start pissing in the toilet before starting to fill the test cup. Thats been my philosophy for the last 15 yrs and it has not failed me yet.

You overdose on that, and ur piss will be like water....nothing will show up...at least i have heard that.

You will get some red blotches on your skin though...but they'll go away....
