Your system just did not react well to the combo, and I'm going to assume it was your first time doing this.
No biggie though....you'll live, and if you really feel like shit drink some water and get some fresh air in your system.

The guiness probably relaxed you enough that you inhaled a little more of that cigar than you should have.
I have all kinds of interesting beers along with cigars, and the only problems I have ever had have been related to accidentally inhaling the smoke, so I get dizzy and then sick.

Beer and whiskey. Whiskey and cigars. Beer and cigars. It's all good!

thats a very heavy combination your going with.
guinness is a lovely beer, but its heavy enough to substitute a roast dinner. cigars are great, but go easy esp if you donīt indulge often. they too, are very heavy. i think that if you want to enjoy a good cigar, you should do it with a good, neat spirit. like a brandy or a whiskey. if you must have it with beer, then stay away from the stouts and porters. btw, you arenīt inhaling that cigar are you?? hope not.

I just hope monica wasn't anywhere near that Cigar... Enough to make you ill.
Greg700 probably called it right, with Cigars follow the "Clinton" way, don't inhale. EDIT: I love 'em (Cigars, not monica), and I always follow BILLY's word's.

i wonder what would happen if i used guinness instead of motor oil in my car...... hmmm *ponders* my car would probably run better. i actually like guinness if i have 1, anymore than that and they become a noxious brew of doom
