Beer and Cigars
i had a guinness and a cigar and a feel like death. Was there some magic saying about the combination that i didnt know about that warns the consumer? well anyways i just thought i'd share my unpleasant experience with all of you. ugh....:(
You didn't smoke the beer and drink the cigar did you??:D
haha no i dont think i did, its possible though
you did it wrong....
blunts and 40s are awesome! i dunno, i dont like cigars, but guinness aint bad |
Your system just did not react well to the combo, and I'm going to assume it was your first time doing this.
No biggie though....you'll live, and if you really feel like shit drink some water and get some fresh air in your system. |

I've had Guinness and i've had cigars just never together, i dont think i will again. Me and my buddy are in beer cigar comas haha |
Not sure... I have beers and cigars and no problems... Beer looks not to be the problem... what type of cigar??
it was a Griffin, i thought they were half way decent cigars.
The guiness probably relaxed you enough that you inhaled a little more of that cigar than you should have.
I have all kinds of interesting beers along with cigars, and the only problems I have ever had have been related to accidentally inhaling the smoke, so I get dizzy and then sick. |
that is most likely answer to my sickness come to think of it, the more i just sit around the better i feel. mmm the joys of cigars
Ah heck, just stick with neat whiskey; only way to be sure. Lager would be a safer bet if you're going to have beer with it.
Your body is telling you that it doesn't want that shit inside of you. Listen to what your body is telling you. You'll thank me 20 years from now. :)
Beer and whiskey. Whiskey and cigars. Beer and cigars. It's all good!
It's probably the cigar... those have quite alot more to them then a regular cigarrette.
thats a very heavy combination your going with.
guinness is a lovely beer, but its heavy enough to substitute a roast dinner. cigars are great, but go easy esp if you donīt indulge often. they too, are very heavy. i think that if you want to enjoy a good cigar, you should do it with a good, neat spirit. like a brandy or a whiskey. if you must have it with beer, then stay away from the stouts and porters. btw, you arenīt inhaling that cigar are you?? hope not. |

Next time drink a beer and smoke a joint...
well its the next or just later on in the day and im back to life. I think i kicked my body's ass last night i'll let it recoup tonight.
I just hope monica wasn't anywhere near that Cigar... Enough to make you ill.
Greg700 probably called it right, with Cigars follow the "Clinton" way, don't inhale. EDIT: I love 'em (Cigars, not monica), and I always follow BILLY's word's. |
guinness rocks, acid cigars rock... BUT NOT TOGETHER. if you want to smoke a cigar and drink, then drink something like a jack&coke or some other liquor/pop mix.
mike (battlemouth), i think it's just that guiness is motor oil anyway
i wonder what would happen if i used guinness instead of motor oil in my car...... hmmm *ponders* my car would probably run better. i actually like guinness if i have 1, anymore than that and they become a noxious brew of doom
