International donations
Hi all,
I wonder if there are any other non US citicens that have tried to donate and succeded. If, then how? I have failed both through PayPal and Yahoo. The first would have worked only it took so long time that the change to Yahoo came before I was able to donate. Unfortunately their charge won't come to TFP's benefit. Yahoo does not accept international customers it seems, though they give the registration forms in all languages. Well, I just really wished there was an easy way to do it since I havn't visited any bank or post office in years, for any financial reason. I have three internet controlled accounts in three countries and through them I do all my business. The idea of standing in line, waiting to get the pleasure to go through a manual bureaucracy routine just makes my skin crawl. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to come across as a winer. I just want to donate and wish it was simple.

Sorry AxelF, don't have any solutions, but I will join you on that moan. I spent 3 months trying to opena paypal account, they where having such a hard time with the fact that I am resident of one country, but living in another temporarily - in the end they just declined me.
Now I guess I better start the process with Yahoo, although it doesnt look to hopeful from your message.

George I wish you luck with Yahoo. I couldn't figure it out. The Terms says you have to be an American citizen or domiciled or whatever, and they ask for a socail security number and such.
But Yahoo is an international company and during the registration they switched to my native language and gave me their local support address. Still during registration all information was supposed to be American, and I could not comply. It's just weird. I'll try to get in touch with them.
