What's up with that Avatar?
 

Well since phredgreen started the what's up with that nickname? Thread I became interested in what reasons people have for their Avatars.

Why did you choose it? What's your reason?

I chose mine because it is portraying (well almost) how I was when I was a young kid :D always up to no good and with a verry strong interest in hidden matters. :crazy:
Plus I think it's a funny image.

Well, I thought that seeing as my nick was cliche (and has been for about 6-7 years on various boards/BBSs/IRC) I needed to pick one for an avatar... so the cliche kitty seemed like an obvious choice!

...and it's vewwy vewwy cute...

Jennifer Garner is extremely gorgeous and I loved her pink-haired look from the early Alias episode.

I chose mine because it's a little creepy and obscure, and it's fun to note peoples' reactions when they realize it's staring at them, or that its eyes move.

When I designed it I thought it was cool. I added my name and it became my avatar.

Eh... I just haven't found one that really presents me in the way that I think of myself. Thus, I put up an ava of a chick that I think is beautiful.

I've always enjoyed the antics of Milk & Cheese.

hmm dont have one yet but i picked one out already. . . its of an image in my head that i tried to create got mad and looked for something of a visual aide to draw with and i found the exact picture i had in my head freaky. . . although it is of a male angel and i am female he is my guardian, and inspiration

It's a drawing I did of a central character in a novel I wrote, I used Ulead Gif Animator and Photoshop to give it an old film like feel, the end-product astounds me.

Well, my old avatar was a phoenix... I know, imaginative, eh? But now it's a stuffed Cthulhu. After all, who doesn't love a cuddly stuffed elder god? Besides, I've been having these weird dreams lately...

Mines great, It's some girl from the TB's eye. Then more blue, and a dash of anarchy sign. I dont know i just really like the eye.

There are not nearly enough swollen members (to quote air45) on TFP (in terms of avatars - I don't need to know if that's the case behind the keyboard for those of you playing at home), so in order to balance the number of T&A, I present you with... watermelon.gif!
