Mine is the fantastic severed, re-animated head of Dr. Carl Hill. If you've seen "Re-Animator," you know what an important part he plays in the movie. I felt he deserved the honor of being a TFP avatar.

Sadly, I'm beginning to think it's time to move on. We will see.

I'm a sci-fi fan, so I my avatar is always of a sci-fi character. I try to change it on a monthly basis.

He's one of my favorite cartoon characters. He try's really hard, but nothing ever quite turns out the way he wants, kinda like me. Also, because he consistently thwarts The Brain's plans to take over the world he is a bit of a sub-superhero.

My family coat-of-arms...nothing more...nothing less.

It's football season. I change it to the Bears logo during the season, when the season's over, I'll switch back to the stomping Juggernaut. :)

Just me. I was going to put up the one I made of Jonny #5 but that was a bit too predictable for my tastes.

As of now this one is my in a paper bag being the mean monster. The monster my friends named Ralph (due the the fact that I'm using a Ralph's grocery bag).

They aren't my eyes, but they look a lot like mine. I use them on another board that a lot of my IRL friends visit, and they didn't know they weren't my eyes until I told them.
I just like the way they sit there and watch the post :)

Can anyone guess whose eyes they really are?

Mine just reminds me that I was born a century or two too late. I've always liked the Jolly Roger and this one is just a little fancier. I used to change mine now and again but so far I just haven't felt the urge.

Loved the movie, and the game. But Newman has a soliloquy in where he talks about playing pool that I related to after playing for a few years:

I've got mine all ready - a nice picture of me... But you'll all have to wait until I get to the magic number.

oOo i just got my avatar

i didn't put THAT much thought to it..
just a pic i had lying around i cropped and messed w/ contrast.

i like the 20's flapper society and louise brooke.. this isn't as representative of me as it could be because i don't really think it encompasses how i am, but rather, how i want to be? or maybe this is the inner me, waiting to come out ;) rawr.

I'm me. good old digital cam, crop and a little playing with balance. On a side note it always confuses the hell out of me when people change avitars or sigs. I mostly use them to ID people (as I think is the point) and using sigs to ID people is sort of an old slashdot habit. anyway, maybe I'm just easily confused.
