Shopping list

So when you make it big and get all the monetary recognition you deserve, what will you buy and in what order?

1. Latest Alienware rig, totally tricked out. 36 inch CRT plus 128 inch projector. 3,000 dollars on speakers alone, another 1,000 for headphones... and maybe some money on the computer itself.
$9,000 total (I can trick it out... believe me...)

2. Custom fit inline racing skates. Currently my feet have a half size discrepancy. So unless I buy two pairs in two different sizes I can't get properly fitting skates. This has kept me from racing.
$2,000

3. Target shooting rifles :-) AK-47 just for kicks and a full on AR-15 20 inch barrel, the works...
AK $700 (Have to customize and fix up an AK)
AR-15 $1300 (Have to buy a magnified sight and replace the iron sights with something fancy)

4. Target shooting pistol Glock-17L
$400
5. A cell phone that doesn't need to charge every phricking day.
$100

6. A donation to TFP
$???

7. Paintball gear
$400

Total cost to realize my shopping dreams: $15,000 dollars
Rather cheap.
How about you?

[EDIT]
Now I am thinking I should have posted this nonsense in tilted nonsense
[/EDIT]

Eh. With a free 100k, I'd put a huge down payment on a house.

You can get all that other junk on credit.

Another stipulation of the thread that it had to be on fun stuff; ie... not bills, houses, that sorta stuff. Just to make it interesting. Otherwise, I'd put it in mutual funds and pay off my student loans.

I reckon a big ass house, with a big ass garage to keep all my cars. who said about one for everday of the week. I want one of everday of the month. And a team of bikini clad girls to wash all those cars.

Then pay off all the debts that my friends have, but its gotta happen without them knowing. Image your best mate finding out that his house loan was payed out and he can just live in the house. That woudl be really cool.

Then fill that big ass house with all the toys that I wanted. The biggest TV, computer, you name it.

And then round the world trip, first class. Going where ever you wanted to go. and just have friends join you for a week or two at a time. Of course they would fly first class too.

Ahhh..... atleast it dosen't cost to dream......

Actually I can't imagine doing anything with that money other than paying for college and transportation. I'm really really cheap, even if I have money; I don't like spending money at all ... ever.

Then again, if I had to choose something other than the two things I already mentioned, the first thing I would probably buy is a BADASS COMPUTER and all the cool accessories to go with it.

The second thing I would buy (if i had enough money) would be a house. Having a house is very important, so I'd make sure that I got a house -of course I'd have to be able to pay the all the utility bills.

Lastly, before I put the rest of the money in the bank, I would buy/rent a beach house to have a "end of summer" party at. And, of course, I'd buy a bus load of beer to accomodate everyone (myself).

Once I have checkmarks next to each of the following items, I can consider myself set for the time being, in the worldly items department:

- A nice apartment in Manhattan
- Awesome home theater setup, with a whole room dedicated to it. Tube amps, audiophile-quality speakers, giant TV, the works.
- Quality guitar and keyboard, and enough lessons so I can actually use em properly.
- The new Mini Cooper. Man, I love that car.
- A new wardrobe, of course
- Extensive home gym, with hot female personal trainer

I'm sure I forgot something important...

1) a castle
2) an original Volkswagen, but in superb working order (with the interiors re-done to look authentic but actually have an MP3 player)
3) an impossibly good computer
4) a Gibson Les Paul custom guitar with a Vox AC20 amplifier. Also a Parker Fly guitar, a rickenbacker semi-acoustic, and a Carl Thompson rainbow bass
5) a really great drumkit (pearl with zildjan cymbals) in case I ever learn
6) a truly massive library of books, with an especially large science fiction, fantasy, and graphic novel collection
7) one of those office chairs with as many moving parts as the human body has bones
8) some great gymn equipment so I can get into shape
9) a superb kitchen with great knives, wide marble counters, one of those fantastic ovens that also heats your house (agas), a restaurant quality griddle, a fry-daddy, a steak aging setup, a home rotisserie
10) the best bed ever

An AH-64 Apache Longbow... just because...
If that's not available then a nice high end passenger model with lot's of power, good range, and a bar in the back so I can take my friends up in style...
and flying lessons...

Target shooting is fun... same as any other sport...

running around in your pajamas chasing after a ball

Hitting a ball with a bat and running in circles

Running around trying to throw a ball in basket...

Jeez that other stuff sound any more interesting?

I just thought about what I could do to accessorize all my hobbies

Hmmm, let's start here:

Continued scuba training (full cave and trimix)

A year of diving at all the great spots around the world (Truk, Cayman Islands, GBR, Moorea, Solomon Islands, caves of Florida & Mexico, etc)

Purchase land with diveable underwater caves in several states/countries.

A couple of cars (Ferrari, Callaway Vette, and maybe a Porsche)

Houses in the Florida Keys, Manhattan, Colorado, and maybe Mexico

Some land dedicated to off road motorcycling. (not sure where but it's gotta have it all, hills, sand, water, mud)
