I am a self proclaimed technology addict, and collector of new gadgets, anyone else with me???

Are you waiting for new relaeses of technology? Do you know any good gadgets that you want or have that you just can't live without??

I just thought that a good thread to clue people in on new, good and upcoming technologies and gadgets would help out the techno addicts...:-)

So, here is what I ma waiting to have released...

1. The Neonode cell phone. I have no idea when it comes out, or what cell service providers will be carrying it, but man, I am foaming at the mouth to get my hands on it...

2. The Philips Key008 - Wearable Key Ring USB Camera. Tell me this isn't the KOOLEST thing out there...Again, I have no idea when it comes, they say summer of 2003, but that is almost over...

Anyone else have or know of any good gadgets??

I dunno what compagny it was, but they were currently researching a whole set of integrated computer parts, like a watch that could be used as a mouse, and some sunglasses that actually had a built-in vga-monitor...

Naw, this is what I want

You know, the binoculars with a built in camera is a nice concept, but not sure how well they actually work...

I had actually purchased this one, but it pretty much sucked. I ended up returning it. The shutter speed was too slow and made all the pictures really blurry if your hand was even the least bit shakey. Also, it has to be used in COMPLETE sunlight, otherwise you get nothing but blacked out images. Maybe the binoculars you suggested are better, but definitely don't buy the one I got.

This would be a cool gadget...but I read a story that they have gone bankrupt. Reasearch costs too high, and no product rolled out yet.

I don't know about the neonode, but the nokia 3650 has all of those features and is out right now. I like gadgets, but always end up loosing the small, cool ones.

Did anyone notice that the Neonode has no vibrate mode?? If you convert the Euro to American currency, the Neonode costs over $600....

...and no vibrate mode...maybe I will have to wait for the N2 release...

Just add a WiFi card or a CDPD/CDMA modem and you're good to go
