I must congratulate the designers of TFP. I recently turned off images in my browser to view TFP because some (many) of the avatars are NSFW, and I must say, the site continues to work fine. Oftentimes, sites don't have alt tags or alternate links, and become nearly impossible to navigate without images--not so here!

Congrats to Halx and anyone else who designed it for a job well done!

there is a setting in your options where you can have avatars not show up. That way you can still see the pictures on other sites, but still use TFP for all its goodness
