VOIP telephone service
Does anyone else use a VOIP telephone service like Vonage? I have been using them for a few months now, and I love it. You hook your normal telephone up to a cisco adapter, and you hook up the adapter to your broadband connection. The calls run over you internet connection rather than traditional phone lines. I was just wondering if anyone else uses this and how they like it.

I used to work for a company called CNM that used VoIP via calling card platform. The company sucked ass, but the service was good. Now, however, calling plans are so cheap through your local/LD provider because they use companies like CNM as their backbone that it really doesn't matter what you do any more.

That's what I've heard too. The one advantage I think this has over normal service is that (for now) it is not subject to any of the taxes that regular telephone providers must charge.
