I mean the point I don't get is why this is a protest against eating meat or wearing leather. So she wills her body to be eaten or made into lampshades. So what?

I'm with Art, this is more of a pro-campaign. She wants us to eat meat and use leather. At least hers.

What i don't get is by eating the livestock animals that we do, we ensure thier survival. Many will die to feed us, but farmers will ensure that at least as many will survive to feed us later on, thus continuing the species.

and as opposed to say throwing away the animal skin, leather is a perfectly valid way of making use of a waste product in the food creation process.

This women is just making a pointless stand. I wonder what PETA's opinions on cockroaches, ants, rats and spiders are? i reckon they should rename themselves to the People against the Ethical Treatment of Cute and Fuzzy Wuzzy Animals.
