some of what the guy is saying makes a certain degree of sense.
ah well, another interesting theory as to why our world is fucked up (but one thing i don't like is his use of "parts of the UK" as an example, which indicates either insufficient research or a lack of it). i'll do more research when i get time and i'll post a detailed reply. |
The article was a joke. We don't live in that society any more. We have technology which freed us from hard labor and having to do all our home chores manually. He wants to blame current problems on the fact women now work and no longer take care of the children.
IMO, the problem he stated (breakdown of society) is actually due to BOTH parents not taking responsibility for their offspring. People need to realize the obligation that comes with having a child. They don't want to have to think about what their children are doing when they are out 'playing.' They don't want to take the time to get to know their childrens' friends and their childrens' friend's parents. They don't want to know if the kids their children hand out with are juvenile delinquents or not. That is where the problem lies in our society, not with women needing to stay home or feminists complaining about men. |
While his observations may be seen in other areas overall it sounds very national. Traveling to different areas of the world may have accented his beliefs to different directions.

Children are better off with one parent out of the workforce dedicated to their upbringing. In most situations it is more feasible for this parent to be the female. This is simply because females generally have to much sense to subsidize their spouse's time with their children.
