well, got my house fixed from where the deck fell. they replaced about a 20x25 foot section in the wall in the basement due to wood rot. and got my ac replaced. seems that my house sits better now, imagine that. i dont think i came out bad. $1700.00 for replacement of ac condensor and $1500.00 for replacement of wall.

Glad to here it all worked out. Sounds like you did get off cheap. If that rot had continued, that could have been ugly. Looks like loosing the deck, saved the house.

you are very right. i just wish i could have found out a different way. but atleast everything worked out.

this is after they repaired the house but before i had the ac replaced. i am getting new siding the end of the week.

good thing you're okay. But what's the reaction of the homebuilder? i think they are also responsible for what happened, even for a bit i guess.
