I've always liked college, but since I haven't been there in awhile,
sometimes I'll just meet them in the most normal place.

The Pub. Chat em up, get em drunk and if you are a dirty, rotten basted, fuck em. But if you are a sensitive new age guy (or anything near that) you'd just get smashed yourself and sing bar songs.

Lamas classes: You can be pretty sure they put out!

Really, find a night class at a community college that women are interested in and take it. You might want to make it at least interesting for you as well so that if you don't meet someone then you've learned something.

Anywhere they are not expecting to be hit on, like in a bar. Grocery stores, librarys, gas stations are all good.

Strange the places you meet people, but my advice is to figure out the qualities you are looking for and then find places where people with those qualities like to go.

maybe coffee shops are just a NW thing, but I know there are Starbucks everywhere. Take a book that's interesting, sit in Starbucks/other coffee place, and just keep your eyes peeled. If you've got a good book, you might not even have to do any work...she might be interested in you/book and ask about it. This works for either sex, either way. :)

Best advice I could give - your friends won't set you up with a freak because they're looking out for your best interest. Siblings too, especially those of the opposite sex - as much as you may not want to rely upon them for your love life, they really wouldn't introduce you to someone they didn't like, since the person is a potential mate and therefore family member.

There are lots of nice girls out there - don't give up looking for them because most of them are also on the verge of giving up on finding a "nice guy". :)
