I was trying to get this ready for us for Christmas music, but alas, it didn't work right away.

We do have a TFP group and if you join it and let it scrobble your music player it will generate a playlist of music that is recommended based on the group.

last.fm has a program that takes your ipod/zune/mp3 player information and uploads what was recently played to last.fm. It is called scrobble.
