Giving Thanks
 

Since we're drawing near to the US Thanksgiving, I think it's appropriate to think about why we are Thankful!

ZS: I am really thankful for snowy! (awwwwe) Without her, I probably would not have acclimated so well to my new surroundings.

What are you giving thanks for this time of year?

Honestly? I am really thankful for TFP. For many reasons. One of them being CJ. Others being the friends I have made here, who have helped me through a rough year, who have watched and often, helped, me step outside of my comfort zone. Each time, my comfort zone expands. I am going to stop before I get all emotional.

I'm very thankful that I'm still here to read this, & that I still feel free to get emotional.

I am thankful for another day doing all the things that I am doing.

Roof, food, money = yepee

I'm happy that of the three tri-state area hockey teams, my team's announcers are the MSG guys and not the other ones.

I'm very thankful that my reaction time & the brakes on my truck are both in good working order. That young adolescent on a bicycle who darted in front me this afternoon is very thankful too.

I need an attitude check. I have been spending a lot of time with my mom lately. I've bought her a LOT of things. I was feeling like crap a while back and took it on her then felt ashamed afterwards. So the time spent I've gotten to know her more and more. Very wise person. I'm thankful for my mom. She's awesome!

I'm also thankful for the fact that I KNOW I am a materialistic person and I'm quite happy with that. In fact, I don't want to change. Things make me happy. Things as opposed to people. I can fix things. People, people I can't fucking deal with.

I'm thankful for my wonderful husband. I'm thankful for my fabulous friends. I'm thankful for my awesome job. I'm thankful for my supportive parents. I'm thankful for Ruff and Tumble.

I have a lot to be thankful for, and I am grateful for that too.

I am also thankful for the interweb that allows me to watch Bengals games.

God above all...im most thankful to him for saving me, guiding me, and listening to me whenever and wherever i need him.
