What are your kids dressing up as for Halloween?
My son isn't going out(hasn't for a couple years now), and my daughter is going as a flower child. Tie-dye outfit, peace necklace and earings. Gonna be cold. Only three degrees out and it was snowing a little here in Barrie earlier. As long as it doesn't rain I'm happy.

my daughter is all grown now...26. But I did enjoy seeing the wonderful costumes of the children who came to my door. One homemade one was so special because grandma had made it and was the one taking her trick or treating. It was a lovely monarch butterfly! One tiny little boy had his whole face painted red and black, our school district's colors, with a spray painted red mohawk. I love when parents dressed up to coordinate with their children. We had a pirate family, with pirate girls and boys, mom and dad! Some older kids got heckled for TOTing but I winked at them as I filled their bags...and said "we all have kid in us somewhere". I have a very very old 100 lbs newfoundland girl dog that joined me handing out trick or treat candy. Everyone loved her. Tiny hands as well as adults hands couldnt wait to pet her. I am so glad. At 14 and having health problems, I am sadly sure this is her last trick or treat. I told them she was really a chihuaha and this was her costume..lol.

I had matching astronauts in costumes we got from The Museum of Science and Industry a few weeks ago. We've definitely gotten our money's worth on those since both boys have worn them every day since then. The younger one has insisted on taking naps in his.
And we just had a 60 year old man dress up and take candy from us. Ah, Halloween in the city...

My 8 yr old son was a ninja and my 13 yr old daughter was a candy corn witch. My son was not cold as he ran from door to door with his friends. My daughter on the other hand, she was cold. Her costume was a bit short. Overall, the costumes were a big hit. I try to make sure they are happy with what they are wearing so they can have fun.
