Has anyone ever had their parents badmouth your girlfriend or boyfriend?

hell yeah. my mom really liked my gf until we started dating, then it just went downhill. when i left for college she kept telling me I need to "keep my options open" and stuff. after we broke up, my mom had the nerve to tell me that "people didnt think she was good enough for you" and shit.

My parents can still control me because they are paying for college, and it gets bad when they start telling me who I can be friends with.
