Somehow, I don't think the TITS or GTFO remakes are quite in line with the spirit of the day. Nevertheless, equal rights is equal rights and this is one of those taboo's we should really probably get over.

From the link above:
"GoTopless is also committed to helping men differentiate between nudity and sexuality. If the presence of a topless woman in public triggers a sexual impulse, it can easily be controlled in the same way men control themselves when they see a woman wearing a mini skirt or revealing ample cleavage. Men manage to appreciate these things while still showing respect! Choosing consciousness above hormones leads to a peaceful, respectful society providing additional freedom and beauty." |

Exactly.
Gotta ease men into "Oh, damn. Boobs!" Although, unless you're packing little cupcakes (my personal favorite), being topless isn't something that most women would chose to do in public anyway. Tits are really just a pain in the ass (or back, as it is), I'd imagine. My experience with the nuisance is limited to running with GI Joe stuff mounted to my chest on a harness. I can only imagine what it's like to have it permanently affixed. Floppa ka-SLAP. Last edited by Plan9; 08-22-2010 at 12:37 PM.. |

Yeah. Depending upon what type of activity is involved, I imagine there
are scenarios where men don't want their genitals wagging about unprotected, either. I used to have 'Mosquito Bite Bosoms.' Miss 'em. Another impetus for dropping extra poundage. |

You totally got where I was going with that. Nice. If I had to deal with my junk spinning around between my thighs on a run like a Vienna sausage in a centrifuge, I'd be a little cranky. I have no idea how people ever competed in athletic events in the nude. I blame it on them being Greek for said insanity. |

There was a recent story on something that pertains to this, which involved some mixture of toplessness, European, and children, oh, and controversy, but I'm hazy on what became of it. I nearly forgot to mention that over-bearing / outraged parents were a part of it, too.
Here it is: Mother reports topless sunbather on Italian beach to police for 'troubling' sons - Telegraph - - - To add: I know of a yearly protest up in Maine (a little town, though, not the whole state) for women's rights to go topless in public, and it has been enduring for the last decade or so, maybe since 2002, but it seems it's not a part of the above organization (they use bodypainting and well-placed-picket signs to illustrate their point).
