June 25th is Take Your Dog to Work Day
Thinkgeek posted a twitter update about getting cute pics tomorrow for Take Your Dog to Work Day, so I investigated the official site.
The "holiday" started back in 1999 as a way to promote adoption. Totally cute idea, but I can see where this would be a problem in some workplaces... but somewhere you have an office to yourself, maybe, or at least a breakroom that's dog-friendly, would work splendidly. The site also suggests taking in a photo of your little buddy if you'd like to support the cause, but aren't able to participate. So, what do you think, TFP? Is anyone taking their dog to work this year?

Considering tomorrow is a home office day, Stanley will definitely be "at work" with me. Any day I work from home he generally sits at/on my feet just about the entire day as I work.
As you can see, he's quite proficient with a computer.

I don't have a dog, but if I did, I'd take it to work.

My friends in San Francisco take their dogs to work whenever they want! Their company is Pro-Dogs Daily.
Isn't that waaaaaaaaaaaaay cool!

I'd be able to participate if it were "take your adopted pet to work day". Is there one of those, too?

Hey Ggirly, would that be lil' Cinnabun? That darlin' bunny?
.... I forgot to say that my SF pals OWN their company which makes it easy for them to say "all dogs, everyday" is okay. Plus their office is big with several rooms with doors and has a large open courtyard with grass - in which all the dogs can "visit" as needed! Pet Parents still hafta do poop duty though! (Sorry, TMI?)
