He got his star on Hollywood Boulevard two months ago and looked really in bad shape. Cancer was well beyond the point of no return. At least, he's no longer in pain.

What a shock to read. I never knew he was sick, although I did notice some inconsistencies in his acting and appearance in last season's Crash. Strange that in that season, he assisted in the suicide of a good friend suffering from terminal cancer. What a glorious career, though - from Easy Rider to Space Truckers to Crash!! I always enjoyed his work. R.I.P.

The movie "Hoosiers" is on AMC tonight and I think Dennis was at his very best in this one.

Enjoy and remember one talented soul, we will miss.
