I'm no fan of mandatory drug sentences but this should be a min. 10yr gig. Is the judge going to half every meth dealer? I doubt that.

Do you think this is fair? Another rich, near famous, person getting by easy?

please.. this is another case of the law being blinded by hollywood lights. I can understand why Michael would plead for his son, but his son is 31 and if Michael really cared for his son like the letter implied, he would have done more when all of the other red flags appeared. Blaming it on himself and Kirk is nothing but a smokescreen.

Cameron is gonna be a popular one in the big house. Especially now that his daddy's letters were made public and the court of public opinion will more than likely come to the "special treatment" verdict. Sometimes, parents just need to let the kids fall on their face.

Oh he'll be segregated. Maybe dad can pay for a private cell? Either way he won't likely see gen. pop.

No he's been in jail. Now he's going to federal prison. My guess is we're talking "Club Fed" here. You know the same place you and I would end up if we got caught selling meth.

yeah..I was using jail as the same thing as fed prison.. my mistake.

either way, just because he's going to Club Fed doesn't mean he should be segregated or that he won't be very popular if he's in a resort style setting

Another example that courts do nothing but cater to the highest bidder without looking that way.

I agree with him doing more time than just 5 years. but who am I to say?

All you have to do is get rich to get whatever you want, I guess that's the moral of the story. I'm surprised the judge didn't just let him off with a warning. I guess my new plan is to get rich (after I pay off my car of course). Anyone care to join me? we could invent pet-anal-bumcovers..oh wait that's been done now
