Caller ID - "This Is Fraud" - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

I got another call from my favorite girl yesterday - "Hi this is Cardholder Services, calling in reference to ..." at which point I hang up. However, there was something different this time: the Caller ID on my phone said "This Is Fraud".

So, did someone at the scam company get bored? Is it reverse psychology? Is the phone company telling me not to bother picking up the phone?

That is pretty awesome! And what I want to know is why you answered it in the first place.

Well, I'd already walked over and picked up the phone. And otherwise I'd have to listen to the phone ring until the answering machine picked up. Plus it made me curious.
