Yes, that's right. Today is the 8th year of TFP's existence!

I would say that's downright amazing for an internet forum.

Over the years the TFP has changed but its essence has always remained the same.

So, Congratulations to the TFP and to us all for making this place so great that we stuck around this long!

Let's hope we can continue to make this place the home for mature, intelligent discussion on the internet that it has always tried to be (with a little silliness added in the mix).

I know for me it's still somewhere I consider a safe haven and a great place to meet interesting, like-minded people.

I knew this place existed, but I had forgotten its name, and of course its address. Then I got an eMail reminder that today is the 8th birthday. I have a forum I speak at that has 200 registered users, maybe 50 or so active. I could use an additional place for discussions, although I do not know how well the Tilted Forum will match what I am looking for. I favor astronomy and science in general, although the sexual expression here caught my eye.

For the joke to be correct, it's 10, not the word "ten".

Thanks to all involved. I have been enjoying this place since 2003 (though mostly on the Titty Board). Every once and a while I stray in politics and get my ass kicked. That sends me back to the titty's every time.
