Creed's newest fragrances

After reading the epic thread about fragrances and saw how many people seem to love Creed, I thought I'd let everyone know that there is a brand new Creed fragrance out called Acqua Fiorentina. It's a really feminine floral with woody base notes. I typically do not like florals, but the sandalwood and cedar fill it out quite nicely.

In December, they are launching another new fragrance called Sublime Vanille. It's the first in a new collection within the collection. It comes in a beautiful hand blown glass flacon. The collection is named Royal Exclusives. The PR guy who handles this is working on getting me a sample to review, but as he put it, "it's as rare as platinum" right now, so he's not sure when I might get to try it. But from what I've read, it sounds like a really rich fragrance of vanilla, tonka bean, bergamot orange and a hint of lemon. They will have it in Neiman's and Bergdorf Goodman, but it's a wee bit pricey. We'll see how it smells.

Also in the works is a new men's launch called Windsor, but only 320 bottles and 70 flacons will be made, so it's going to be a rare find. It will be in select Saks stores. Not sure when it's to debut, but if you have the chance to check it out, share with us what it's like! I don't have any specific details about it yet.

On a side note, I think I have a tiny crush on the PR guy. :) He's one of those that you email no matter what time of day or night and he's instantly responding. Not exactly standard in the industry, but extremely helpful. Borderline flirty. Makes my life easier!

Windsor at $405 for 1.7oz spray and $605 for 8.4oz flacon? Ouch. I think I'll pass on that one. Since you called my thread "epic," can you sneak a sample of the Sublime Vanille into a tester and mail it to me?

Actually, why would a PR guy even be getting a sample of a Creed fragrance? They pride themselves on not advertising and any specials they do are guaranteed to sell out because of the dedicated following.

Didn't Nashville Pussy have a fragrance,...or was it the Butthole Surfers?

MSD - When he sends me a sample, I would be more than happy to send you some! He's being nice to be because he wants me to review it for the publication I write for. So it's in his best interest to let me try it, I spose. Yeah, at 400 bucks for the spray, it's, like I said, a little pricey. I'm dying to smell it though!

I guess you can't escape reviewers, and giving people free stuff works wonders. Thanks for the offer, I was half joking when I said that, but now I just hope you take bribes and cost of shipping/packaging by Paypal

Sure thing. Just send me your info. I think I can spare the postage ;)
