Is not sure that WWII or other greatest human castrophe are avoidable by the action of a single person. Maybe you go back in Time, kill Hitler in order to avoid the war, than jump back and relize that the Nazi, after Hitler's dead, were founded by Himmler and the story haven't changed a bit. Than maybe go back another time and kill Himmler and other important Nazi members. Than turning back and find that Mussolini enraged Germany and founded a puppy Fascist party. ...etc...etc... Point2: Is not sure that avoinding WWII you'll enter the universe in a temporal loop caused by the Grandfather paradox. You avoid WWII and then, in 21th century, you have no reason to head back in time for avoiding it, because you didn't know the WWII has ever existed...etc... Point3: Is not sure that avoiding WWII you'll not endager world in a worst way. Like in Red Alert Games series avoiding WWII you risk to make WWII will be fighted later on between Russia and USA with nuclear weapons. In a less cruent way without WWII can be less technological develop resulting in even more lives killed by less prosperity then what we have now. For these reasons I'll let history (including mine) as it is and change the future making me billionare!! |
