Pushing beyond blue.
once, I was lost
to the point of disgust You never really notice it happen. You just wake up one day, and you wonder how you can possibly face it any more. You wonder at what point it all became so intolerable. The world, you life, you, the darkness. I had in my sight lack of vision lack of light Suddenly your world becomes four walls. Four walls, needles, whatever you can to feed the escape. It's mighty dark my friends. No end in sight. No where to run. Just a knife edge to treed. I fell hard I fell fast mercy me it'll never last Then you realise what you always knew. This is bad. Real bad. You let it get too far. You realise the darkness consumed you. It became you. All because you wanted it to. Now you know it's more than you. You hurt everyone else too. then, in the dust all the things we discussed were thrown to the wind You remembered there was a time. It wasn't like this, it was better. You felt free for a while. We had plans. For when things were better. But they never did get better. We just got to this point. A pure point of self disgust and loathing. so at last we begin 'cuz we fall hard we fall fast mercy me it'll never last This is for the weak and the weary. For the scared and the angry. For susceptible and predisposed. You can push beyond it. Beyond the blue. Beyond the fear, hatred, and hopelessness. Because beyond that at are the ones your love. Beyond that you can love yourself. Reach out and touch somone. Behind every set of eyes is a person who knows fear.

Yeah, this was me for a good slice of my life's pie.
This is a great little lyric to life, despair, and renewal. Thank you, MrFriendly. I think I just discovered my unfound title.

Thanks, I like that. Sounds like Fear & Loathing Down Under...of course not just d.u. but wherever you are. I'm left with hope, and therefore happiness, that you can change where you are. I've done it, I'm sure most have, and I'm ready to do it again as needed.
