"Hey, check this out" (Recommendation Thread)
We live in a completely viral culture it seems; ebb and flow is a thing of the past, we simply have a constant stream of media and opinion. You could argue for or against such accessibility; that we get both brilliant work that we would have never seen otherwise, and also people filming reaction videos to The Miley Cyrus Movie.
So let's help a brother (or sister) out. Let's here some of your personal favorite websites/blogs and their purpose. http://radio3.cbc.ca: a constant stream of Canadian indie rock bands. A great place to find some new music. http://egotastic.com [NSFW]: A blog of celebrity nudes/slips/judgments. I'm not a celebrity kind of guy, in the least, but I do like seeing them naked. All things iPod, iPhone, iTunes and beyond | iLounge: a great source for anything apple. Tips on the hottest new apps, the best hardware/software, the most durable accessories, etc. http://blogto.com: the down low on all things cool in the GTA. Everything from "Best Sushi" to reviews on performance art; it has it all. So share. I'm looking for some stuff to add to my hipster resume.

I like the idea, and I actually recently subscribed/bookmarked a thread on TFP to dig it back up with recommendations. I'll post the thread, and a cool website I like to boot.
---------- Post added at 05:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:23 PM ---------- The somewhat topical thread that may need a boost: http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/found-n...ter-sites.html The cool little website that tracks recent commercials and advertisements, lists the credentials, director, song being played in the portrayal, and more: splendAd - Advertising database

- Found this a while ago and still use it quite often. It's a plethora of online generators.
Online Generators | Developer's Toolbox | Smashing Magazine Great way to kill time using some creativity. - Can't pass up deviantART: where ART meets application!. - Killer site for 80's garb. 80s t-shirts, retro t-shirts, funny t-shirts, cool t-shirts, movie t-shirts, Junk Food shirts. Prices aren't bad either imo. |
