Bored in Los Angeles
Well, the July 4th weekend is almost upon us. I have nothing to do but get my dirty car washed. Anyone around LA willing to hang out and talk around a game of pool?
I usually play in Moorpark, which is about 45 minutes of clear freeway north of Hollywood, but I am willing to travel into the urban jungle if any of you know a nice clean place with no age limit. |
How the hell could you be bored in LA?
If you think it's boring there come to Ohio for a visit. You'll soon learn what boring really is. |
Hal, is LA still an empty Cadillac at a stop light?
|
Dodgers and Angels both out of town?
|
Hang out with meanSpleen, according to his given location, A Few Miles Away From Halx!
|
I agree with Sixtate...HOW tHE HELL ARE YOU BORED? I've got relatives out there and believe me...boredom is something that is a little harder to come by.
|
Halx~ keep driving a little further North out of Hollywood- You should be here in time to hook up with the girls from BjornAgin! I'll be running sound- stop and say hey!
And there's a pool table backstage!:D http://www.keepclam.com/News_Home/4th2003_schedule.html |

Too bad I live across the US. I would hang out with ya.
We didn't do anything exciting.....just watched some fireworks and came home and went to bed. LIfe stops being exciting once your over 25. |
Yes it gets BORING in Lost Angeles...especially if you have lived here most of your life.
HALX sorry bro but I don't go NEAR the valley in the summer time, but if you feel like heading south to West Lost Angeles we can shoot some stick in Santa Monica or across the street at Q's. I have to go to work till 4 or 5 today so drop me a pm and if all is well we can be bored together:D GOD I hate this FUCKING CITY!! GET ME OOOOOOOUTTTTTTT!! |
|
Anyone who wants boring should come visit me. There is a beach in town, other than that, the local night spots are whatever is open 24 hours.
|
well, if halx hasn't posted, and you take that as doing nothing, he did a helluva lot more than me.

We always have so many things going on in the city during the 4th of July weekend. Festivals, art fairs, mini-carnivals, boat racing, etc. The fireworks displays were amazing this year and for the first time in a few years, I actually enjoyed watching them. |

There's all kinds of things to do. Sports, theatre, music, festivals, restaurants, museums, etc. For example, just in Cleveland right now you have the Indians, The Lion King at Playhouse Square, summer concerts, Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame Activities, Tall Ships, etc. You just have to be willing to leave your computer and get out there, and you'll find all kinds of stuff to do. Those that are bored just have a narrow idea of what they will do with themselves. If you have the right attitude, you'll find all kinds of great things to do. Ohio is a large state with a large and diverse population. If it exists in this country, you'll find it in Ohio. Sorry if this seems like a rant from the tourism board, but I don't want you to get the wrong impression from other posts. P.S. ohio.com has alot of listings. Check out the entertainment section. |
