Online bicycle equipment and accessory retailers?

Does anyone know of any good online bicycling retailers? Specifically, I'd be interested in equipment (helmets) and accessories (mirrors). Free shipping would be nice, but I'd like to compare prices online to those found at my local bike shop.

I'd prefer giving the business to my local shop, but their selection can be limited in some regards, and I'd like to see what the online retail route has to offer and what savings are available.

I would try:
Bike Nashbar or Performance (owned by the same people) for good prices in commodity, disposable stuff like what you listed.
I also like Licktons (lickbike dot com) for great selection and good prices.
Competitive Cyclist has the best website, with a world of info and high end cycling products, albeit at high end prices too.
Finally Peter White cycles deserves a shout out for excellent unique items, outstanding wheel building and excellent personal customer service.

But I would also recommend frequenting the local shop as much as possible because having a good shop nearby, that stays in business and knows you as a loyal customer is definitely worth a lot.

Outdoor Gear - Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC) - quipement d'activits de grande nature

REI: Deals on Outdoor Gear, Equipment and Clothing for Camping, Cycling, Fitness, Hiking, Kayaking and More

I love the ones mentioned above and I also use these two. Never had any issues with either. Shop local if you can though.

PricePoint has a good selection and fantastic prices, sometimes much lower than Nasbar and Performance.

VeloOrange and Rivendell are also nice places to look for accessories if you're interested in a more classic, old-time aesthetic.

One more vote for Nashbar. Very reputable and have ordered plenty of stuff and never had a problem.

+1 for Nashbar. If you check their site often, they also have returns offered at deep discounts.

If you register for a free account there, BikeForums.net has a form with coupon codes for both Nashbar and Performance.
