Bacon is a renewable resource, biodegradeable, and organic. I wouldn't be surprised if we discover a way to power everything with bacon-derived fuels. I love bacon...and I'm pretty sure bacon loves me, too.

What the hell is with all this fascination with bacon? Bacon cheeseburgers, BLT, bacon and chive on potatoes, Bac'n Bits, Beggin Strips, bacon ranch dressing, bacon and sausage...

I mean, it's just bacon.

Wow, you bacon people can get pretty vicious.

I'll keep that in mind next time I scoff at shesus for having a cheddar, bacon, and tomato sandwich.

There's room for ham if you top it with bacon.

Back in 2004, traveling from Virginia back to Wisconsin,
the bestest bacon I have ever experienced,
was in Canfield, West Virginia, in a small family run cafe, ( I wish I remembered the name.)

It was thickly cut, and cooked to perfection for my taste,
(the delectable fatty ends, soft and pliable, the middle not too crunchy.)

Oh my.

I don't know if I ever read about "cross posting" on this forum, so if I'm violating such a rule, forgive me, it was because of bacon. But in "the longest thread" I posted what may very well be the longest strip of bacon in all the universes.

A clever bacon-lover named Masta cut a whole slab into one continuous strip, as reported by World’s Longest Bacon? | Royal Bacon Society - The Ultimate Bacon Resource ...here's the slide show of it... bacon

my edited summary:

Badnick,

Your transgression of cross-posting has cost this thread dearly. You really should be ashamed. I'm just not sure if you should be more ashamed of cross-posting or of posting such an obscene display of fatty pork.

I'll toast a drink to anything with chocolate in it, or on it...in this case with a couple of those bacon martinis we've all seen and loved...but hey, if we're doing it again, roll another one
