McCain & Obama cups at 7-11?!?!?
Saw one of these cups today, my classmate had one. She had a McCain one but crossed it out and wrote Obama...they probably ran out of the Obama cups....gee....so I found out just now what the deal is:

There are several places doing little promos like this.. some coffee shops are offering mugs.. some bars are doing the same..
it's become a national thing that is part of small business..not just chain level. |
You didn't know? They've had them here for a WHILE. I think it's silly.
Only useful purpose I see from this is if the proceeds from cup sales for either party would go straight to the campaign fund. |
I honestly think it's just putting an interesting addition to the election. Today was the first time I've seen that because I don't go to 7-11 and haven't gotten out a lot. Someone told me that Krispy Kreme is doing the same thing with doughnuts.

Life without a 7-11 cherry slurpee isn't worth living.
All my cups have some sort of footballer on them. In holographic 3-D. I'd have a hard time slurping from a real person's head. |
This promotion has been used by 7-11 during other elections.
