Think of a funny sport.
Underwater elephant polo comes to mind. Only thing that'd be difficult would be teaching the elephants how to breathe with scuba gear...
|
Challenge pissing.
Dolphin polo - more logical than elephants, but not as interesting. Great white football. Much more interesting. Funny "ha ha" or funny "strange"? Lion wrestling comes to mind. |
Monkey feces throwing distance contest. Now on ESPN.
|
Synchronized swimming and equestrian. I'll think of more later.
Add: Cricket, ultimate frisbee. |

I'd say live action pacman, with smart floors to sense where you had been and a button that made the lights in the arena change so you could 'eat' the ghosts |

Panda jai alai

Transvestite Triathlon

The Hay Day races, mind you it works a lot better on snow. People dress up in all sorts of costumes and slide down a hill on a mattress for charity. |
Curling

Chess Boxing
This is my first post here so hello everyone.
Two real sports: Chess Boxing. The two participants fight a round, play speed chess for a few minutes, then fight the next round. Also there is extreme ironing. This involves ironing a shirt while hanging from a rope on the side of some tall structure. But maybe I just watch too much TV. MadMabel |

Seriously though, the way I understand it, it's about making the ice smooth enough for the stone to travel, but not too smooth, so that it doesn't go past the target. I could be wrong. |

I've heard of extreme ironing, but not Chess Boxing. That's awesome. -----Added 7/9/2008 at 09 : 12 : 14----- Quote:

I used to think it would e fun to play polo on bicycles with a golf ball and putters. Now I see it's becoming a real thing...
Urban Cycle Polo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I also think American football on ice skates on a frozen lake might be cool. |

Okay, I will assume that you haven't been on a frozen lake much. It is a lot safer than it sounds if you use common sense. When I was seven I didn't have much of that, and I found the bottom of a frozen pond. Generally it is no problem. |
Around here we use them as parking lots for ice fishing tournaments. Plenty thick enough for all the football equipment imaginable.
|
Racewalking instantly came to mind!
With some funny background music, it's hilarious. |
Donkey Ice Basketball
|
Sloth Races...

It's kinda fun checking out the old threads I had with the most responses. I wonder what it would take to turn one of our weird ideas into an olympic sport... Course I only say this since the Olympics were held in my town I suppose...

Dynamite fishing. Although it's actually real and does screw up the environment, you've gotta wonder who came up with the idea of just blowing it all up...

back in the old days in the meditereanean all fishermen used to use dynamite as a fishing tool. no one ever thought of the environment back then. ive heard stories from my late grandfather who used to be a fisherman in back the early 1900's till the 1970's. Lots of serious injuries and deaths came along with the stories |
Curling is frigging hilarious. You can actually win an Olympic medal for speedy sweeping?
|
I like to watch curling. Of course, since I only watch it every 4 years, it's not like I get a chance to get tired of it or anything...

-Full-contact synchronized knitting.
-Platypus shot-put. -Underwater archery. (just to name a few) |
I always thought it's a shame they don't have full-contact golf.
It would make it much more interesting to watch on t.v. There's an interesting movie aboot curling called "Men With Brooms". It stars the guy that played Mountie Benton Frasier, in "Due South". |
