My thoughts exactly.
Although I am not so worried as to believe that it would become some massive human farming system, I still think there are major ethical issues. What if said clones turn out deformed a-la Ripley in Alien: Resurrection? How would you deal with them? Are they as important as any other life, or a mere genetic experiment gone awry? What does it do to the worthiness of natural birth? Not that I think it would necessarily be a bad thing to be able to remove genetic defects pre-birth, but in the instance of making a "perfect" human, what does it mean for the disabled? It's sad that my best arguments all stem from movies, but that being the case, we have Aliens: Resurrection, Episode II Clone War, Gatica.
